Hello again from your (wannabe) Money Mensch.

Three things before I launch into a “catch-up” post:

First of all, once again I feel as if I owe an apology for not posting for a while. It seems like my inherent feelings of guilt catch up with me when I do not take the time to even write a 500-word post every few days. The bloggers who I follow mostly do, but I just simply have lacked the motivation to do so.

I cannot truthfully write that I did not have the time although I have been extremely busy. My main excuse that I was going to use is that I have been living my life more fully rather than writing about it or anonymously pouring my feelings into the blogosphere in the hopes of connecting to someone out there. The truth is that we are all swamped and that if I truly wanted to improve my blogging and readership, I would work at it more.

Secondly, for those of you who have never read one of my stories, I am a middle-aged Jewish dude. My wife is not Jewish.

Neither of us had ever been previously married and our two children are our only two and were both born after we were married. Those facts, in themselves, make us somewhat of an anomaly in some circles. Among our own circles, it is the norm.
