It has often been said that You Are What You Eat.
If that is, indeed, the case, then my family and I had better watch out.
Although it would be a low percentage, some percentage of us during the months of September and October of every year would be constituted of that fruit, vegetable, squash, or gourd that many of us know and love every fall.
You know what I am talking about!
You can eat or drink pumpkin-spice flavored anything from soup to cookies to pies to pancakes to coffee, and my family does all of the above — and much more.
Just this week alone, I consumed at least seven pumpkin-flavored items, and I do not see any reason why that will not continue through at least the end of this month when my wife will make the switch to peppermint-flavored items and more slow-cooker recipes as the temperature drops here in the Midwest.
