A Little Bit Wealthy

I very much want to become a little wealthy. I do not know you, but if you are not already a little wealthy, I want you to be as well.

I believe in the notion of Abundance, so there is plenty for me to have mine and for you to have yours too.

Mind you, I typically eschew the word “rich.” I do not envision myself becoming a multimillionaire who can buy whatever I want, control where and when I go and what I do at all times, and be able to lavish my family with the things that I think they deserve.

That would be great, but really I just want to be a little bit wealthy.

Through my day job, I frequently meet with a successful developer who constantly boasts about having a hundred mil, and I believe him.

The shopping center that he purchased and redeveloped in our town a few years ago is his eighteenth and he is still on the lookout for more. He recently put both me and my boss down pretty hard about our middle-class careers and having to scrimp and save, but that conversation is worthy of a story on its own.

To me, the word “rich” evokes thoughts of having in your possession some fixed amount, like you inherited several million dollars or sold your business for a huge amount, whereas the word “wealth” conjures…
