I am somewhat of a conformist.
As I recently shared in Rich Brother Middle-Class Brother, I have basically stuck to the safe route and have aimed to be a people pleaser since my childhood rather than a leader, maverick, or risk-taker who may offend the delicate sensibilities of others while leaving a bigger mark on the world than I have.
Of course, there is always room to improve and I intend to as I embark upon my freshman year once again early next year.
Since embarking on my personal self-help journey about three years ago this month, I have taken some thoughts and ideas and have turned them into tangible actions that are helping me slowly inch my way closer to being the better version of myself that I long to be.
To wit, I have fully embraced the concept of Paying Ourselves First, as I have often shared. I have also walked quite a bit over the years, but more so lately, as I have been averaging five or six miles per day over the past few weeks. Right or wrong, I have also recently started consuming apple cider vinegar, or ACV as I call it, on a regular basis since hearing about its benefits and having a few conversations about it that convinced me to give it a go.
