Do You Sense Abundance or Scarcity?

Due to the current crisis situation that both you and I and everyone we know are knee-deep in whether we want to be or not, are you generally feeling a sense of abundance or are you feeling anxiety about scarcity? Perhaps you are wavering between the two like I am?

Depending on what the particular scenario is or what time of day it happens to be or what the last thing that I read or heard is or what business or organization I may have visited, you may find me feeling a sense of confidence, hopefulness, and abundance or you may find me feeling the exact opposite: a sense of dread, hopelessness, and scarcity.

While I detail some of what lends my own feelings to each, you may just find reflections of yourself in what I am about to write.

When someone tells you that they have some good news and some bad news and then asks which you would prefer to hear first, if you are anything like I am, you always opt for the bad news first whether you are the recipient or the giver of it.

So I first share some of the things that make me fearful, anxious, and of the scarcity mindset.

There are some stores near us, and most likely near you as well, where the staff may go so far as to mock you for inquiring as to the availability of toilet paper. I struck out…
