I recently visited my son, who resides in Athens. Not that Athens, but Athens, Ohio.

Previously, he lived in Denver for a year while attending graduate school there. He has shifted his plans, but more on that some other time.

We both love hiking and did so together quite a few times in the front range area of the Colorado Rockies, mostly in the Boulder area. Some days we hiked more than ten miles, some days more like fifteen, and ascended thousands of feet.

We hiked over ten miles in the Rockies on April 23rd. I burned fat for over 4 hours that day!

What does all this have to do with the price of tea in China? My mom would ask.

How it relates to dollar stores is that we also hiked extensively over a period of three days a week ago. Since we previously exhausted all of the hiking trails close to Athens, we ventured further out, including visiting Mountwood…
