As some background, how much my family and I generally travel in comparison with others is entirely dependent on the other family’s socioeconomic status, employment, and the like. While the vast majority of blue-collar workers do not travel so much, those who drive trucks for a living might be in multiple states on a weekly basis.
I have a brother and a sister who both travel far more extensively than my wife, kids and I do, but I also have a blue-collar brother- and sister-in-law in Wisconsin who rarely leave that state.
So whether you think that I and my core family travel a lot or very little likely depends on your own lifestyle and traveling tendencies.
One thing that I can tell you for sure is that none of us get around much anymore.
I am generally very protective of my privacy and urge my children to be mindful of theirs as well.
