Good story and I agree with that point.

My investing articles are some of the worst-performing I have on Medium, but they serve a purpose, so I continue writing them. If I was writing purely for volume and to get myself a check, I’d write about crypto. But the messages from people who say my advice helped or the conversations with people who are just starting on their financial journey are the actual reward. But for every one of those educated readers, two more get sucked into some crypto scam.

Good story and I agree with that point. My personal finance stories only get a handful of reads with the exception of my last one, but my stories calling out the DRIP scheme and its snake oil salesmen get thousands of views and make way more $.
