House Poor Back in Full Force

But it is far from something new

There seems to be an ongoing “debate” on Medium about renting versus owning.

As a so-called “owner,” I have not weighed in on it.

TBH, despite what some of the more popular writers espouse, I do not and will never consider it a debate.

True enough, I have been in the profession of economic development for a good long while. Longer even than some readers may have been alive, or at least longer than they have had to contemplate owning versus renting. Twenty-three years to be precise.

Over those 2.3 decades, I have worked with, met with, assisted, guided, argued with, fought with, hated, liked, shared meals and/or cocktails with, and otherwise communicated with countless millionaires, several dozen eight-figure types, a handful of hundred millionaires, and three billionaires with a “B.”

The one thing that they all had in common, you ask?

Property ownership.
