I'm not generally a huge fan of your "the world is ending" type of stories, but do read them occasionally. I prefer to think of ways to accept the inevitable when it comes to real estate and perhaps even profit from it. Become a "rentier" as you frequently blast instead of the one paying their mortgage. That said, while not all the for sale properties in our area are becoming Airbnbs, they mostly are becoming rental properties, most of which are purchased by large corporations. It is sickening and does not bode well for younger generations. This was an excellent and thought-provoking story.
