It's not my right to go into great detail, but my brother struggled for a few years out of law school taking divorce cases, DUIs, and the like. Ten years later, he operates a successful firm, makes about 1/2 M per year and employs four other people including my son. He makes it look "easy" now but it took him 10+ years to get to that point.

My son is now switching from grad school in music to law, so I hope that he follows the same path.
