My wife made this for our dinner last night.
It was super tasty.
We had just recently finished watching every episode of Somebody Feed Phil, one of the numerous shows that we have been streaming on Netflix during the pandemic, and both of us like a term that he uses — Zobble it up.
There are not any references to it almost anywhere, but it is a term that he uses to soak up delicious sauce with bread.
That said, besides being one of the tastier chicken dishes that we have had for a while, the four of us including our super-picky daughter, loved soaking up the buttery, dill-infused sauce that was left on the serving dish after we took our pieces of chicken.
Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, about 1 3/4 to 2 pounds
1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth — my wife used chicken broth for this particular one
1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)
