This will be an ongoing, editable “story” that essentially references as many new “investing” and otherwise sketchy crypto-related schemes as come up.

EVERY SINGLE TIME that I log onto my Medium account, a high percentage of the “stories” as I scroll through is about some new get-rich-quick scheme.

Yes, I realize that by following Money and writing about Crypto sometimes, these schemes pop into my feed more than if I just read stories about self-improvement or traveling or some other topic altogether.

Yes, I have been duped by outrageous headlines about turning a few hundred or thousands of dollars into millions quickly. There are hundreds of shillers who write nothing but glowing reviews of whatever new scheme has just taken shape, all of which include their referral codes so they can benefit from those who join their “downstream,” since most of them resemble Ponzi and/or pyramid schemes.

After getting baited into clicking on “stories” about two of the more popular schemes shilled frequently on Medium — DRIP and Furio — I have more than made abundantly clear what schemes I believe them to be.

I almost got suckered into gambling into DRIP about a year ago and cobbled together three grand to get rich quickly as so many…
